First time in Aruba. All of our friends and family who have been here recommended Madame Janette's, and now we do too.
I had the Almond-encrusted grouper with the... read more asparagus cream sauce and a house salad, and my husband had the schnitzel. The fish was tender and flaky underneath the yummy crust, and my husband could not stop eating the schnitzel even when he was full. Word of warning: if you get The Spoon for dessert, it's huge! Worth it, but very large - we were unable to finish any of our meal, especially dessert.
The service is very friendly, from the greeter at the door to the hostess to the servers and the bathroom attendant. If we ever get back to Aruba we will definitely make reservations at Madame Janette's again!

We seem to always get the same...I had the lobster bisque with huge chunks of lobster and Grouper with the creamed spinach. The pickle onions are always a treat but this time I mixed them in the spinach. Yum! I just made up a new dish! lol. The portions are so huge that we enjoyed them for lunch the next day. Well finally after 20 years we decided to try it and I will say we loved it. The atmosphere is great. We loved the live music. And it had a Papiamento feel outdoors with all the trees lit up. Very pretty. The service and food was great! The portions are huge! Not one of us could finish. The dessert menu looked amazing but we were too full to try any. Next time for sure! Madame Janette’s you made my list of favorite restaurants on the island! And that’s a tall task.

I had the almond crusted grouper with white asparagus and my wife had the snapper with white asparagus. For dessert, we enjoyed the Swiss chocolate souffle. Attentive and friendly staff.
